Job Details Location: Missoula, MT 59802 (Missoula healthcare / Montana locum tenens opportunity) Setting: Hospital-based, Level II Trauma Center Start Date: August 1, 2026 Duration: Ongoing, indefinite need (continuous locum tenens OB/GYN coverage) Employment Type: Locum tenens physician (OB/GYN) Shifts: Several consecutive 24-hour pager call shifts (3 hours gratis per shift); must be able to cover at least 1 week per month Shift Duration: 12 Hour Any Estimated Weekly Pay: $7,340 - $7,870 (competitive locum physician pay) Patient Encounters Per Shift: 1-2 emergent cases Job Requirements Board Certified in Obstetrics & Gynecology (OB/GYN) Active and unrestricted medical license (state license required for practice) BLS certification required Minimum 1 year of experience managing emergent gynecologic (GYN) and select obstetric (OB) procedures Comfortable managing emergent GYN cases independently, including operative and laparoscopic procedures Ability to commit to at least 1 week of call coverage per month (Montana locum tenens schedule flexibility preferred) Responsibilities Provide 24/7 call coverage for emergent gynecologic procedures and select obstetric emergencies Respond to and manage emergent GYN patients in the ED, OR, and hospital wards as needed Per
