Join Our Team as an Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician Save Lives, Make a Difference! Are you a dedicated OB-GYN seeking a rewarding opportunity that challenges and fulfills you? We are looking for a compassionate and highly skilled Obstetrics/Gynecology Physician to provide exceptional care in a dynamic, fast-paced environment. Key Responsibilities Provide comprehensive obstetric and gynecologic care in a 24-hour shift format (8 a.m. to 8 a.m.). Support high-risk pregnancies, normal deliveries, and GYN procedures, including ER cases such as miscarriage, D&C, and ablations. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including on-call general surgery, cardiology, house supervisors, and clinic staff. Manage an average of 75 OB patients and 25-30 deliveries monthly. Perform occasional GYN surgeries and see high-risk patients in the clinic. Document patient encounters accurately using the EPIC EMR system. Maintain compliance with all certification and licensing requirements. Required Skills Board Certified in Obstetrics and Gynecology (BC in OBGYN). Active Virginia medical license. Current BLS and ACLS certifications. Valid DEA license. Strong clinical judgment, attention to detail, and excellent communication skills. Ability to work 24-hour shifts with flexibility regarding schedule start days. Commitment to providing high-quality patient care and ensuring patient safety. Nice to Have Skills Experience in high-risk obstetrics. Prior experience with ER GYN procedures. Familiarity with hospital-based surgical procedures. Multilingual abilities are a plus. Preferred Education and Experience Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. At least 2 years of clinical experience in obstetrics and gynecology. Prior experience working in hospital or birth center settings. Other Requirements Must be vaccinated against flu and other relevant vaccines. Clear background with no pending or settled malpractice cases. Ability to obtain credentialing within 30-60 days. Willingness to support billable travel (gas, rental cars, tolls, hotels). No licensing beyond Virginia; IMLC acceptance not needed. Start date: July 20, 2026.
