OCCUPATIONAL THERAPIST - Mobile Outpatient Westerly | Charlestown | South Kingstown, RI Burned out by productivity standards, paperwork, or the traditional “activities of daily living only” mindset? There’s another way to practice occupational therapy. INSPIRE Physical Therapy & Wellness is a therapist-owned outpatient mobile practice providing one-on-one care in the home throughout southern Rhode Island. We are currently seeking a full-time or part-time Occupational Therapist to support growth in Westerly, Charlestown, and South Kingstown, RI. This position is ideal for an experienced clinician who wants to provide high-quality, relationship-based care without the stress of double booking, unrealistic productivity standards, or spending hours completing documentation at night. At INSPIRE, our therapists treat one client at a time for full one-hour sessions. No overlapping patients. No clinic mill. Unlike traditional homecare, we are an outpatient Medicare Part B practice — meaning no OASIS documentation, no Start of Care admissions, and no homebound requirement. Our occupational therapists go beyond the traditional ADL-focused model. We are looking for clinicians who think critically about movement, function, cognition, coordination, balance, posture, reaction timing, dual tasking, fine motor control, visual-perceptual deficits, neurological recovery, and helping older adults maintain meaningful participation in life and community activities. Our team has a strong focus on neurological rehabilitation, particularly Parkinson’s disease and movement disorders. Experience or interest in working with neurological populations is highly valued. Therapists with experience in Parkinson’s care, neurological rehabilitation, upper extremity recovery, cognitive strategies, dual-task training, LSVT BIG, or functional mobility training are encouraged to apply.
