Job Description Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Recognize each patient's unique needs to formulate specialized therapy strategies that support their functional objectives Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based methodologies to enhance patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily activities Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Function alongside OTs, PTs, SLPs, healthcare providers, and nursing staff to facilitate comprehensive, holistic patient care Guide Patients and Their Families: Provide education to patients and caregivers concerning therapy methods that promote sustained progress in their home environment Assess and Document Patient Progress: Monitor clinical results and adjust therapy sessions as necessary to keep patients on track for success Education Accredited degree in Occupational Therapy Encouragement and opportunities for further education or additional certifications Certifications Active Occupational Therapist (OTR/L) license required
