Job Responsibilities Create Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess individual patient needs and collaborate to develop personalized therapy regimens aimed at achieving their goals. Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Employ evidence-based interventions to boost patients' motor skills, cognitive functioning, and daily living tasks. Team Collaboration: Work alongside multidisciplinary teams, including OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to ensure that each patient receives comprehensive care. Educate Patients and Families: Provide information and guidance to patients and their caregivers on effective therapy methods that can be practiced at home. Monitor Progress: Keep track of clinical outcomes and make adjustments to treatment plans to ensure patients stay on track toward their recovery goals. Education Requirements Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program. Ongoing education and post-graduate certifications are highly encouraged and supported.
