Job Responsibilities Craft Customized Treatment Plans: Assess each patient's unique needs and design personalized therapy strategies to support their journey to achieving functional goals. Implement Effective Therapeutic Techniques: Apply research-based approaches to improve patients' motor skills, cognitive abilities, and daily activities. Collaborate with a Multidisciplinary Team: Work closely with OTs, PTs, STs, physicians, and nursing staff to deliver comprehensive care. Educate Patients and Families: Guide patients and their caregivers on therapy methods that foster continued progress at home. Document and Monitor Progress: Track clinical outcomes diligently and make adjustments to treatment plans as necessary to ensure continued patient advancement. Educational Requirements A degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited institution is required. Active participation in continuing education and professional development is encouraged.
