Job Responsibilities Craft Tailored Treatment Plans: Assess patients' abilities and design individualized therapeutic approaches to help them reach their physical and emotional goals. Implement Therapeutic Techniques: Apply evidence-based methodologies to improve patients' motor functions, cognitive abilities, and daily living activities. Collaborate with Diverse Teams: Partner with fellow OTs, PTs, STs, medical staff, and nurses to deliver holistic care that addresses all aspects of patient well-being. Guide Patients and Families: Provide education to patients and caregivers on therapeutic exercises and strategies to encourage ongoing progress outside clinical settings. Document and Track Progress: Monitor patients' clinical outcomes and adjust plans as needed to ensure effective rehabilitation.
