Overview Department: Occupational Therapy - Long-Term Care Schedule:Per Diem, Day shift Facility: Rumford Community Home Location: Rumford, ME 04276 Central Maine Healthcare is an integrated healthcare delivery system serving 400,000 people living in central, western and Midcoastal Maine. Responsibilities Education and Experience Current State Occupational Therapy Licensure Current BCLS certification. The Occupational Therapist Evaluates patients and develops a comprehensive treatment plan to restore patients to their maximum functional potential. Directs therapeutic intervention for the restoration of patient’s functioning to prevent disability following injury, disease, or physical disability. Assists patients to reach their maximum performance and level of functioning while learning to live within the limits of their capabilities. Provides treatment and instruction to patients according to acceptable principles and practices of Occupational Therapy. Collaborates as a member of the health care team for the provision of comprehensive patient care. Consistent with training and competency review, provides care to adult and geriatric patients.
