This opportunity is for a skilled Occupational Therapist experienced in acute care hospital settings, offering a 24-week part-time contract assignment in Quincy, MA. The position is based in the Inpatient Rehab department, providing comprehensive OT services across inpatient floors with a patient demographic ranging from pediatric to elderly populations. Schedule/Hours AM shift, 8 hours per day 24 hours per week Days: Tuesday, Thursday, Friday No weekends or major holidays Qualifications/Experience Minimum of 1 year in acute care hospital environment; 2+ years preferred MA Occupational Therapy licensure required CPR certification (AHA BLS Healthcare Provider) required Experience with diverse patient populations, ICU exposure, and EPIC documentation beneficial Strong patient handling, transfer techniques, and communication skills Ability to work collaboratively with healthcare teams including nursing, physicians, and case management Self-directed, flexible, and efficient multitasker Responsibilities/Duties Deliver OT services to patients with musculoskeletal, neurological, cardiopulmonary, and post-surgical diagnoses Manage patient caseloads averaging 8-15 patients per shift with goal productivity of 5.2 treatment hours in an 8-hour day Provide care across multiple inpatient floors in a fast-paced acute care environment Document accurately and maintain communication with interdisciplinary teams Additional Details
