Make a meaningful difference as a travel Occupational Therapist. We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills in an inpatient and acute rehab hospital setting in Hilo, HI. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Hawaii Occupational Therapy license required by assignment start. Candidates not currently licensed in Hawaii must apply upon acceptance of offer and obtain the Hawaii license before the assignment begins. Minimum 2 years' work experience treating adults in outpatient and acute care or inpatient rehabilitation settings. Experience with both inpatient and acute rehab is required. Experience managing an independent caseload, performing evaluations and re-evaluations, and developing home exercise programs. Familiarity with Net Health Therapy and Meditech EMR systems preferred. BLS certification from the American Heart Association or American Red Cross may be required. Must be able to work Hawaii state and federal holidays as necessary based on hospital operations. Assignment Details Facility type: Hospital. Setting: Inpatient and Acute Rehabilitation; may include coverage in rehab and acute rehab units. Shift name: Days. Shift days: Monday through Friday. Shift hours: 07:00 to 16:00. Caseload expectations: Independently manage a full caseload and update treatment plans and home exercise programs as needed.
