We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Occupational Therapist to help patients with injuries, illnesses, or disabilities regain or improve daily skills while exploring a new location. Minimum Requirements Bachelor's, Master's, or Doctoral Degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited educational program. Active Connecticut Occupational Therapy license required to start the assignment. Minimum 1 year of home health experience required. BLS certification required or may be required from AHA or ARC. Experience providing OT services focused on upper extremity function, activities of daily living, and cognitive-perceptual motor function preferred. Assignment Details Facility Type: Home Health. Shift Name: Days. Shift Details: Days . Hours per week: 40. Primary caseload: post-orthopedic surgery, heart failure, and COPD patients with emphasis on energy conservation and upper extremity ADL training. Supervisory responsibilities: may supervise COTA(s) and home health aides as appropriate. Must provide direct occupational therapy services in accordance with physician-established plan of care and maintain visit records including evaluations and re-evaluations.
