Rulon Creative + Consulting is seeking a highly experienced Oncology Data Specialist (ODS/CTR) Consultant to support the continued development and strategic growth of our Oncology Registry service line. This is an immediate, remote 1099 consulting opportunity for an Ohio-based professional, anticipated to last approximately 90 days, with potential for extension based on business needs. The ideal candidate will serve as a subject matter expert to HIP leadership, providing guidance on oncology data abstraction operations, workflows, compliance considerations, staffing structures, quality oversight, and industry best practices during the proposal and implementation planning phases. Key Qualifications: Extensive Oncology Data Specialist (ODS/CTR) experience with a strong background in oncology registry operations Prior leadership, management, consulting, or program oversight experience within Oncology Registry services Strong working knowledge of Ohio oncology registry requirements, workflows, and reporting expectations Proficiency with CNExT required Demonstrated experience supporting operational planning, workflow development, process improvement, and quality oversight Strong understanding of oncology data abstraction standards, compliance requirements, and industry best practices Ability to provide strategic guidance and operational recommendations in a consulting capacity Excellent communication, collaboration, and organizational skills Must reside in Ohio Candidates Will: Successfully pass a criminal background/OIG/drug screening Successfully pass prior employment verification Act as a consultant and strategic advisor to HIP leadership throughout the proposal and operational planning process Provide operational insight and subject matter expertise related to Oncology Registry services and Ohio-specific workflows Pay: $70.00 per hour Work Location: Remote
