OEM VAS Tech Reports To: Sr. Director, OEM Sales FLSA Status: Non-Exempt Summary: The OEM VAS Tech position is responsible for assembling Rehlko gas and diesel engine power pack solutions for OEMs. Engine power packs are used in a variety of different applications, for example Blueberry Harvester, PSI Washers, Woodchippers, Concrete Pumps, and Spray Foam Trailers. Other engine related responsibilities include, diagnosing engine complications during assembly, programing controllers, repairs, and flashing ECUs. The OEM VAS Tech will also be responsible for customer service, maintaining vendor relationships, and collaborating across departments within the organization. Job Role/ Responsibilities Assemble Rehlko gas / diesel power pack solutions for OEMs. Using Rehlko’s scan tool to flash ECUs and diagnosing any issues during assembly. Engine Manufacturer parts look up. Read / follow engine manufacturer service manuals. Read / follow electrical diagrams. Read / follow engineering assembly drawings for OEM gas / diesel builds. Warranty repairs to Rehlko engines. Support cross-functional teams. Provide excellent customer service by addressing inquiries, offering advice on equipment maintenance, and ensuring customer satisfaction. Mange the outside vendor relationships and component orders through the procurement department. Sales order entry into D365 Collaborate and support the outside OEM Account Managers. Stay updated on industry advancements, new technologies, and equipment models. Maintain a clean and organized work environment. Qualifications: Automotive Technology or equivalent vocational certification with 2+ years of experience High level automotive tech skills for gas and diesel engines Experience using engine scan tools Engine diagnostic skills High level understanding of electrical systems and schematics Excellent problem-solving skills Strong attention to detail Excellent communication, both written and verbal Excellent organizational skills Excellent customer service skills Strong computer skills
