Job#: 3029320 Job Description: Office Assistant Location: Manhattanville, New York, New York (Onsite) Employment Type: Contract Role Overview This is a part-time contractor role requiring approximately 20 hours per week onsite. The position supports daily office operations, including cleanliness, organization, and event setup. The ideal candidate will work independently with a service-oriented, hands-on approach. Responsibilities Maintain cleanliness and organization across kitchens, common areas, conference rooms, and desk spaces. Restock pantry items, beverages, snacks, and office essentials. Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies need reordering. Accept, sort, and organize deliveries. Set up and break down group lunches, meeting catering, and internal events. Load and unload dishwashers, empty recycling, spot mop, and tidy desks as requested. Ensure all shared spaces remain presentation-ready throughout the day. Support operational needs during the office relocation. Qualifications Experience in office operations, facilities support, hospitality, or a similar role. Strong attention to detail and pride in maintaining clean, organized spaces. Ability to lift and move items up to approximately 25–30 lbs. Reliable, punctual, and comfortable working independently. Clear communication skills and a service-focused mindset. Preferred Qualifications Experience with office moves, stocking systems, or facilities tools. Work Expectations Onsite presence is required each week; hours may vary slightly based on events or deliveries. Flexibility to support occasional schedule adjustments tied to meetings or internal events. Consistent, proactive upkeep of all shared spaces is expected. Smooth coordination with office management and facilities teams is necessary. Compensation The pay rate for this position is between $30.00 and $35.71 per hour.
