Office Assistant (80% Remote / 20% In-Office) Specialty Neurology Clinic – Bellevue, WA We are seeking a highly organized, detail-oriented Office Assistant to support our specialty neurology clinic and affiliated specialists. Initial training will be conducted onsite at our Bellevue clinic. and the position can be remote/in-clinic hybrid, including Saturday working hours required. Key Responsibilities Administrative & Patient Support Answer incoming phone calls professionally and route messages appropriately Provide warm, professional phone greetings Manage appointment scheduling and calendar coordination Process referrals and coordinate with referring providers Handle insurance verification and prior authorizations (PA) Manage incoming/outgoing emails and patient communication Assist with documentation within EMR system Support inbound and outbound patient calls In-Clinic Support Light front desk and administrative assistance Support physicians and specialists with general office tasks Assist with clinic workflow as needed Training Provided EMR system training Phone communication protocols Insurance verification and referral workflow Prior authorization processes General specialty clinic operations Training will be conducted onsite in Bellevue . Qualifications Required Strong communication skills (verbal and written) Excellent organization and multitasking ability Professional phone etiquette Reliable internet connection for remote work Ability to maintain patient confidentiality (HIPAA compliance) Quick learner with strong attention to detail Preferred Bachelor’s degree Experience in healthcare, medical office, or insurance processing Familiarity with EMR systems Experience with neurology or specialty clinics (a plus) Ideal Candidate Self-motivated and dependable Comfortable handling patient interactions Able to learn medical terminology Interested in long-term growth within a specialty clinic setting Job Types: Full-time, Part-time Pay: $18.00 - $22.00 per hour Work Location: Hybrid remote in Bellevue, WA 98004
