Location:Damascus, MDHours:Monday through Friday, typically.7:00 PM to 9:30 PMType:Part-time / Evenings Requirements at a glance:Reliable personal vehicle Smartphone Ability to lift up to 40 lbs and wear a backpack vacuum Fluent in english Available weekday evenings Job Overview Fresh Start Cleaners is looking for a reliable, self-motivated individual to join our team as a part-time evening office cleaner at a medical office in Damascus, MD.This is a straightforward weeknight gig, typically Monday through Friday, approximately 7:00 PM to 9:30 PM, perfect for someone looking to earn extra income in the evenings.You'll be working independently, so this role is best suited for someone who takes pride in their work, holds themselves accountable, and doesn't need someone looking over their shoulder to do things right.No prior cleaning experience is required.We'll train you on our system from day one.What we do need is someone who shows up on time, pays attention to detail, and genuinely cares about leaving the space in great shape every single night.Duties On a typical shift, you can expect to handle the following tasks:Vacuuming floors and carpeted areas (including use of a backpack vacuum, usually under an hour per shift, though it may occasionally run longer) Cleaning and sanitizing restrooms Emptying and removing trash, including transporting bags to the outdoor dumpster Dusting surfaces, furniture, and fixtures Wiping down chairs, appliances, and common area surfaces Disinfecting high-touch areas using an electrostatic sprayer (proper PPE will be provided and required) Mopping hard floors Cleaning sinks and mirrors Cleaning interior windows and glass Restocking consumable supplies (paper towels, soap, trash bags, etc.) Monitoring supply levels and proactively reporting to management when anything is running low Taking care not to damage equipment, furniture, or surfaces while cleaning Skills & Requirements We're not looking for a resume full of experience.We're looking for the right person.Here's what matters to us:Integrity:You'll be working alone in a medical office.We need someone who does the job fully and correctly because they take pride in it, not because someone is watching Attention to detail:Noticing what needs to be done and doing it thoroughly Initiative and good judgment:If a minor issue comes up that's within your ability to handle, we trust you to take care of it Reliability:Consistent, on-time attendance is essential Physical ability:Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs and wear a backpack vacuum for extended periods English communication:Must be able to communicate clearly and effectively in English, both verbally and in writing Smartphone:Required for communication and task tracking Personal vehicle:Needed to transport trash bags to the dumpster on-site If this sounds like a good fit for your evenings, we'd love to hear from you.Fresh Start Cleaners is building a small, dependable team and we value people who show up, do the work well, and take ownership of their space.If that's you, apply today.Pay:From $17.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
