We strive to have a positive impact on developing the infrastructure that keeps our communities running and to be successful in our goals, we’re seeking an Office Engineer to provide critical construction management support to ensure our projects stay on track. We’ll look to you to perform daily project administration and coordination for construction projects related to heavy transportation infrastructure. You will be responsible for providing administrative support to the Resident Engineer and other inspection staff including reviewing daily inspector reports, handling project correspondence and maintaining accurate records, producing estimates, assisting with the change order process, reviewing contractor payroll reports and EEO documents. You should have the ability to prepare change orders, compile material testing reports, to organize project files and have considerable knowledge to establish and maintain project records. You should also have the ability to use applicable software and record keeping methods consistent with the requirements of Jacobs and our clients. Here's what you'll need Bachelor’s Degree plus 2 years of experience in general construction contract administration, or NICET TCI Level 2 Certification plus 4 years of experience in general construction contract administration Construction professional experience working on large infrastructure projects Experience with CTDOT Site Manager and CTTA CapEx Manager software programs, desired. CTDOT and CTTA experience a plus. SAT (Asphalt Paving Construction Technologist), TCP (Rutgers CAIT – Traffic Control Coordinator Program), ACI Concrete Field Technician - Grade I desired. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
