Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking an experienced Office Manager to oversee the daily operations of our Article 28 licensed clinic. The Office Manager will supervise support staff, manage provider schedules, ensure smooth clinic workflows, and serve as the primary contact for patient relations and grievances. This role is essential to maintaining a high-quality, patient-centered environment and reports directly to the Director of Operations. Job Description Daily Operations: Oversee front desk, medical assistants, nursing, and support staff to ensure efficient clinic flow. Monitor clinic compliance with Article 28 regulations and organizational policies. Ensure facilities, equipment, and supplies are maintained for optimal patient care. Staff Supervision & Scheduling: Manage provider and staff schedules to ensure appropriate coverage across all clinic hours. Conduct staff meetings, provide training, and support staff performance evaluations. Foster a positive, team-oriented work environment. Patient Relations: Serve as the point of contact for patient questions, concerns, and complaints. Investigate and resolve patient grievances in a timely and professional manner. Promote a culture of patient-centered care, ensuring respectful and compassionate interactions. Reporting & Communication: Track and report key operational metrics to the Director of Operations. Support implementation of new clinical services, workflows, and initiatives. Collaborate with leadership to improve patient access, satisfaction, and outcomes. Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, or related field (preferred). Prior healthcare management or supervisory experience required (Article 28 setting preferred) Strong organizational and leadership skills Excellent communication and problem-solving abilities Knowledge of healthcare operations, patient relations, and compliance standards
