Office Representative |UF Health Rehab | Full-Time | Days

Overview:Gathers pertinent patient information so patients can be scheduled, verified/authorized and pre-registered prior to initiation of rehab services.Assists with verifying insurance or other third party coverage, obtaining pre-certification, coordinating financial issues with internal and external departments, and resolving or referring non-financial concerns of the patient to the appropriate department or agency.Enters data into computer systems Qualifications:Minimum Education and Experience Requirements:Graduate from high school or equivalent.Computer skills necessary including but not limited to word processing.Minimum 1 year experience in a medical setting preferred.Experience in a rehab setting preferred.Licensure/Certification/Registration:None Motor Vehicle Operator Designation:Employees in this position Will not operate vehicles for an assigned business purpose.
