Office Sales & Customer Service Associate Harry B. Anderson’s Western Auto – Valdosta, GA Job Summary Harry B. Anderson’s Western Auto is looking for a dependable, customer-focused Office Sales & Customer Service Associate to join our front office team. This position is primarily based at the front counter and involves assisting customers in person and over the phone with payments, retail sales, appliance purchases, and general customer service. The role also includes answering phones, processing transactions through our computer system, scheduling deliveries, and helping direct customers to the correct department. We are looking for someone who is organized, friendly, comfortable using computers, and able to multitask in a busy retail environment. This is a full-time, in-person position with steady hours and long-term growth opportunities. Responsibilities Greet and assist customers at the front counter Accept and process customer payments on accounts Take payments over the phone Answer incoming calls and transfer calls to the correct department Create sales orders and invoices through the computer system Assist customers with: Major appliances Countertop appliances Housewares and small home products Schedule appliance deliveries and coordinate with delivery staff Help maintain organization of paperwork and customer records Assist with general office and retail support as needed Provide friendly and professional customer service Qualifications Strong customer service and communication skills Comfortable using computers and learning retail software systems Ability to multitask and stay organized in a fast-paced environment Basic math and payment handling skills Dependable attendance and punctuality Retail, office, cashier, or customer service experience preferred Appliance or sales experience is a plus, but not required Schedule Full-time Monday–Saturday Rotating weekday off Store hours: 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM Closed Sundays Benefits Paid time off Paid holidays Employee discount Employee in-store credit options Opportunities for growth and long-term responsibility About Us Harry B.
