Gateway Energy is Hiring – High‑Pressure Meter & EFM Technician (Waxahachie / Red Oak, TX) We’re looking for an experienced Natural Gas High‑Pressure Meter & Electronic Flow Measurement (EFM) Technician to support our Waxahachie/Red Oak assets. This is a critical role focused on accuracy, safety, and operational reliability across high‑pressure natural gas systems. Key Responsibilities Install, calibrate, and program EFMs and measurement instrumentation Maintain and repair high‑pressure meters, regulators, and relief valves Perform gas sampling and ensure custody‑transfer accuracy Support SCADA communications and field diagnostics Maintain compliance with PHMSA and Railroad Commission requirements Respond to callouts and operate independently in the field Requirements 3–5+ years in gas measurement or high‑pressure field operations Strong understanding of pressure systems, electronics, and measurement fundamentals Proficiency with EFM software, SCADA, and communication equipment Valid driver’s license and clean driving record Must live within 10 miles of the Waxahachie/Red Oak asset area Preferred experience: orifice, Coriolis, turbine, ultrasonic meters, transmitters, chromatographs, and relief valve systems.
