Job Description
We work to improve the lives of others by saving them time, reducing stress, and helping them when things get too overwhelming. We are looking for a Professional Organizer who will be an on call organizer available in Bend, OR! You will succeed in this role if you can do a few things really well: You are amazingly talented at organizing and also have the ability to be empathic toward clients when they are stressed out or going thru a rough transition in their lives. You get energy from helping others and working together with them. You are great at time management You love to market your skills and are a great communicator You are can be be flexible with hours worked per week. This is an on call position so bookings are random, but as you spread the word (with our help) your hours will increase or you can help find another organizer to help with the load. Some Physical Strength: We consistently lift around 40 pounds. Plus, we push and pull furniture, boxes, totes, tables, etc. both for clients and during set up for estate sales. Other important tidbits *You must love animals. We work in client homes. That means that we need to be sensitive to their allergies and we must be accepting of all their family members (even the furry ones). It also means that if you're allergic to pets, this is not the environment for you. *This is probably not the job you imagine, meaning that it's dirty and physical. . .almost all of the time. You must be okay with dirt, clutter, mice poop and everything else that may appear behind boxes of stuff. This is not a job for the dainty. *You must have a car, a valid driver's license, and the understanding that you will be driving to clients' homes and removing donations, garbage, and recycling. There is some mileage reimbursement for the use of your rig. This job is very rewarding, fun, and can be flexible for the most part. We are looking for someone who is going to be around for a while and is eager to learn all the aspects of becoming a professional organizer.
