Job Description The On-Site Parts Handler will be responsible for the day-to-day handling, movement, and inventory tracking of industrial machine spare parts at the customer site. This role focuses on the physical and operational side of parts processing, including forklift operation, palletizing, loading and unloading deliveries, and maintaining accurate inventory records in ERP systems. The candidate will work closely with the On-Site Lead and On-Site Account Representative to ensure parts move efficiently through the facility and that the work area remains organized and safe. Key Responsibilities: Fork Trucking: Safely operate a forklift to move materials, parts, and pallets throughout the customer facility. Palletizing Material: Stack, secure, and prepare parts and materials on pallets for storage or shipment. Loading and Unloading Deliveries: Receive incoming shipments and load outgoing deliveries, verifying counts and condition of parts. Inventory Updates: Accurately update part data and transactions in ERP systems to ensure inventory records remain current. Training on systems will be provided. Scrapping Broken Parts: Identify, document, and properly dispose of failed or damaged parts in accordance with customer and company procedures. Organizing and Housekeeping: Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area, including parts storage areas, staging zones, and the warehouse floor. Team Support: Work closely with the On-Site Lead and On-Site Account Representative to support daily operations and customer needs. Qualifications: Forklift experience required; certification preferred (or willingness to obtain). Ability to perform physical labor, including lifting, palletizing, and standing for extended periods. Strong organizational skills and attention to detail. Basic computer skills for data entry into inventory systems. Experience with ERP/inventory systems is a plus, but training will be provided. Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently in a customer-facing environment. Good communication skills for coordinating with team members, suppliers, and customer personnel. Brief Statement of Work (SOW): Operate forklift to move and palletize industrial machine spare parts. Load and unload deliveries at the customer site. Update inventory transactions in ERP systems. Process and scrap broken or failed parts. Maintain organization and housekeeping standards in the parts and warehouse areas. Compensation: $42,000 – $48,000 per year, depending on experience.
