Job Description
Position Summary The Onsite Care Coordinator is responsible for managing all onsite client-facing interactions within the facility while ensuring families experience a compassionate, professional, and supportive environment during the pet aftercare process. This role focuses heavily on face-to-face client interaction, comfort room preparation, outgoing communication, and creating a calm and welcoming experience for pet families visiting the facility. The Onsite Care Coordinator serves as the primary hospitality and communication representative for onsite services while also supporting workflow organization and chain-of-custody accuracy. The Onsite Care Coordinator plays a critical role in maintaining the emotional care experience that Honor Pet provides to families during difficult moments. The Onsite Care Coordinator reports directly to the Shift Lead and/or Site Manager . Key Responsibilities Client Experience & Hospitality Welcome pet families and visitors entering the facility. Provide compassionate, professional, and emotionally supportive interactions at all times. Ensure clients feel comfortable, respected, and cared for throughout their visit. Escort families to designated comfort rooms when applicable. Maintain a calm, organized, and supportive environment for families. Required Qualifications Strong interpersonal and communication skills Compassionate and professional demeanor Strong organizational and multitasking abilities High attention to detail and documentation accuracy Ability to remain calm and supportive in emotionally sensitive situations Preferred Qualifications Veterinary, funeral service, hospitality, or customer service experience preferred Experience working in emotionally sensitive environments preferred Physical Requirements Ability to prepare rooms and move light supplies or memorial materials as needed Ability to work in an emotionally sensitive environment Comfortable handling pets Work Environment This position operates within an water cremation and pet aftercare facility. The Onsite Care Coordinator works directly with pet families, veterinary clinics, and operational staff in a compassionate and professional environment. Professionalism, empathy, organization, and emotional awareness are required at all times.
