Faculty Description University of Colorado Anschutz Department: Department of Psychiatry, Division of Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Job Title: Open Rank - Headache/Neurology Integrated Pediatric Psychologist (PhD/PsyD) Position #00845799 - Requisition #39233 Job Summary: This position includes direct clinical care, teaching, supervision, and program development duties, with a focus on providing integrated behavioral health services to children, adolescents, and their families who are seen in the Children's Hospital Colorado Pediatric Headache Program and the Child Neurology Clinic. The psychologist in this role will be part of the Pediatric Mental Health Institute Section of Integrated Services. This is an open-ranked faculty position and could be categorized as Instructor, Senior Instructor, Assistant Professor, Associate Professor, or Professor based on experience and qualifications as indicated below. Key Responsibilities The duties and responsibilities of the position include, but are not limited to: Provide integrated behavioral health services across medical ambulatory clinics, multidisciplinary clinics, and/or hospital inpatient settings for the Children's Hospital Colorado Neurology Program. A particular focus will be on pediatric headache, with potential opportunities in other neurology subspecialties. Consult with pediatric medical teams around addressing behavioral health and psychosocial factors that impact child well-being including pain coping, functioning/adjustment to medical diagnosis and treatment, adherence, mental health, behavioral, developmental, and family factors.
