Responsibilities include continuing a nationally recognized line of research in the candidate’s area of specialty, seeking extramural funding to support research, teaching courses in the undergraduate or graduate program as needed, and providing service at the department, college, and university levels. Salary is competitive and commensurate with rank, qualifications, and experience. The successful applicant will receive the appropriate rank and title based on university and school established standards. This position will be housed on the San Marcos campus. Required Qualifications Required Qualifications for Appointment at the rank of Assistant Professor rank: Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited university. Terminal degree (Ph.D. or Ed.D) in a Health Science field or a closely related field. Strong interpersonal communication and leadership skills. Commitment to excellence in teaching and learning consistent with the program vision, mission, and goals as evidenced by a presentation during the campus visit with faculty. Strong potential or record of scholarly products (peer-reviewed publications, presentations, etc.). Strong potential or history of extramural funding. Demonstrated commitment to professional growth and lifelong learning (e.g., continuing profession
