Job Information Open-Rank Tenure-Track Faculty Position in Quantum Optics The Department of Physics at Florida International University invites applications for an open-rank, tenure-track faculty position in Atomic, Molecular, and Optical Physics (AMO), beginning in Fall 2026. The Department of Physics hosts active research groups in astronomy & astrophysics, nuclear & particle physics, biophysics, cognitive neuroimaging, condensed matter physics, and physics education. We seek candidates with a Ph.D. in Physics or a closely related field and strong record of research in experimental AMO physics, especially with expertise in subfields that are relevant to Quantum Information Science. Commitment to excellence in teaching and mentoring at both undergraduate and graduate levels is expected. Postdoctoral experience is preferred.
