JOB REQUIREMENTS Education Skills and proficiency in oral and written grammar, communication, and basic mathematics as acquired through official completion of high school or its equivalent. Experience Knowledge of patient care technician practices as related patient care activities and hospital policies and procedures as acquired though on-the-job training. Knowledge of basic non-technical skills as acquired through on-the-job training. Physical This is a safety sensitive position. Exposure to unpleasant elements (dust, fumes, odors, water, etc.) exposure to biological, mechanical, electrical, and chemical hazards. Frequent standing, walking, bending, stooping, and reaching.
