Operating Room Nurse (Circulating and Recovery)

Duties Help all aspects of the surgery center -Greet and check-in patients, ensuring a positive and welcoming experience -Ensure all anesthesia and nursing staffing are scheduled as needed as well as all equipment Answer phone calls and respond to inquiries in a professional and timely manner Collect patient information, update electronic medical records, update OR records Maintain cleanliness and organization of the surgery center -Implement and monitor compliance with health and safety regulations -Work with Universal Healthcare (UHC) consulting company with QuadA regulations -Oversee communications with all surgeons and surgery coordinators, help optimize all surgical outcomes Experience 3 years of previous experience working in the operating room and preop/recovery Familiarity with electronic medical records, phone systems and front desk operations Knowledge of plastic surgery terminology and procedures Proficiency in using electronic medical record systems such as Dr Chrono Strong administrative skills with attention to detail and accuracy Excellent communication and customer service skills to interact effectively with patients, physicians, and staff members -ACLS/BLS certification Please note that this job description is not exhaustive and additional duties may be assigned as needed.
