About the Opportunity: The Operations Analyst & Automation Engineer role is focused on supporting day-to-day operations and customer needs within a cybersecurity environment. This position contributes by managing operational workflows, monitoring activities, and coordinating issue resolution. It plays a key part in identifying opportunities to automate repetitive tasks, thereby improving efficiency and reliability. The role offers hands-on experience with cybersecurity tools and automation platforms while working closely with cross-functional teams. Responsibilities: • Assist with daily operational support for customer environments Monitor alerts, tickets, and dashboards; escalate issues as needed Follow documented procedures to support customer requests and identify automation candidates Maintain accurate records of customer activities and operational events Support security operations including access reviews, system checks, and troubleshooting Document incidents, changes, and customer interactions Adhere to security and compliance procedures Maintain and improve operational documentation, runbooks, and workflows Identify manual processes suitable for automation and collaborate with Engineering for solutions Test and monitor automated workflows to ensure reliability Collect and report on operational metrics including automation performance Identify gaps or inefficiencies and recommend improvements Collaborate with senior analysts and cross-functional teams for learning and operational support Participate in training and continuous learning on cybersecurity operations and automation tools Support customer outcomes in partnership with Customer Success and Engineering teams Requirements: • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Computer Science, Cybersecurity, or related field, or equivalent experience Interest in cybersecurity, technology, and operational support Strong attention to detail and adherence to established processes Familiarity with basic networking concepts such as TCP/IP, VPNs, and firewalls Experience with ticketing systems or customer support tools Basic understanding of security concepts or frameworks Clear and professional communication skills Willingness to learn and grow in a fast-paced environment Pay Range and Compensation Package: • Base salary of $80,000 Opportunity for incentive units grant and performance bonus Benefits & Perks: • Comprehensive health, dental, and vision insurance 401(k) plan with company match Generous paid time off and holidays Flexible work environment with opportunities for remote work Equal Opportunity Statement Equal Opportunity Statement: Our client is an equal opportunity employer.
