Operations — Part Time Angry Audio is a small electronics company in Franklin, Tennessee. A tiny team, profitable, no investors, no plans to get bigger than we are. We're looking for someone to run day-to-day operations. The work Order entry. Purchasing. Inventory management. Work orders. Shipping documents, domestic and international. Coordinating outbound shipments and printing labels. Helping box shipments when it's time to box shipments. Sometimes helping in production and test when an extra pair of hands matters. Some days are computer-heavy. Some days are physical. Some days are weird — chasing down an answer from a state tax office, figuring out which shipper actually gets to Alaska affordably, running a package to the post office because that's what the situation needs. None of it is optional. Who we're looking for The kind of person who notices the loose end before it becomes a problem. Who'd rather build a system once than do the same thing the hard way fifty times. Who can hold five things in their head and move them all forward a little each day. We use AI tools constantly, and we expect you to use them too. You don't need to be an expert. You need to be the kind of person who says "oh, good idea" when someone points to a faster way — not the kind who argues for the slow way because it's the way you already know. This is part-time on purpose. There's no corporate ladder here. No VP track, no director path, no annual review theater. If you need those things to feel like you're succeeding, you'll be miserable here. If you don't, you'll fit right in. Who'd thrive here If you've watched politicians, posers, and parasites get ahead while the people doing the actual work got passed over, you already know what we mean. Not here. No middle managers. No layers between doing the work and deciding what gets done. We pay vendors early, we thank our dealers in writing, and we answer the phone when it rings. None of that is performance. It's how we treat people, and it's how we expect to be treated. Respect for customers, for dealers, for vendors, for each other. If that's the kind of place you've been looking for, you'll like it here. Practical Roughly 20 hours a week, flexible — mornings only, three full days, school hours, whatever fits your life. We care that the work gets done well; we don't care when. Must work from our Franklin office. The operational work is here — the parts, the shipments, the stockroom, the people. Remote isn't an option and won't become one. Please don't ask. $25–35/hour depending on experience. 401(k) with company match.
