Operations Coordinator (Part-Time) Position Summary The Operations Coordinator provides part-time operational and event support for Bethesda Workshops by assisting the Operations Manager with workshop preparation, event setup, office coordination, and day-to-day operational needs. This role focuses heavily on the physical setup and execution of workshops, trainings, and organizational events while also supporting general office and operational functions as needed. Key Responsibilities Event & Workshop Support Assist with physical setup and breakdown for workshops, trainings, and events Prepare event spaces, seating, materials, signage, hospitality areas, and supplies Support participant check-in, registration, and on-site event logistics Coordinate workshop materials, participant binders, and presentation setup Assist with vendor coordination, catering, and event hospitality needs Operations & Office Support Assist the Operations Manager with daily operational and administrative tasks Help maintain office organization, supplies, workshop inventory, and event materials Support mail processing, participant communications, and general office coordination Help maintain organized records, files, and workshop documentation Assist with facility upkeep and operational readiness for events and office needs Team & Organizational Support Support staff, directors, and volunteers during workshops and organizational events Assist with special projects and operational tasks as assigned Help maintain a welcoming, organized, and mission-focused environment Uphold the mission, and values of Bethesda Workshops in all interactions Qualifications 1–3 years of administrative, event support, hospitality, or operations experience preferred Strong organizational and communication skills Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment Comfortable with hands-on event setup and physical operational support Ability to independently create, edit, and format professional documents and spreadsheets in Microsoft Office. Experience with Canva, graphic design, and CRM databases is preferred Ability to lift and move workshop materials, supplies, and event equipment as needed Flexible availability including occasional evenings or weekends for workshops and events Preferred Traits Dependable, adaptable, proactive, and team-oriented Strong hospitality and service mindset Organized with attention to detail Passion for supporting ministry and nonprofit work Hours: 20-25/Week Pay Range: $25/hour Benefits (once eligible): paid time off, holiday's paid and retirement matching Pay: From $25.00 per hour Benefits 401(k) matching Paid time off People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location: In person
