Job Description
Description seeking an Operations Director to lead construction operations for its Data Center Innovations business. This role is responsible for delivering high‑quality, profitable projects by leading teams, managing resources, and coordinating across multiple functions including project management, safety, supply chain, and business development. The Operations Director ensures projects are properly staffed, executed efficiently, and aligned with company standards, while also supporting sales efforts and long‑term business growth. Key Responsibilities Leadership & • Team Management Hire, coach, and develop high‑performing operations and field teams Lead operations meetings, reviews, and all‑hands presentations Hold teams accountable for performance, schedules, and results Support talent development and retention Construction Operations Oversee all aspects of data center construction operations Ensure projects are delivered safely, on time, on budget, and to quality standards Coordinate across project management, construction, safety, supply chain, and logistics Ensure standard processes and procedures are followed on all projects Track productivity, reduce rework, and prevent cost overruns Resource & Workforce Planning Plan and manage staffing based on project forecasts and backlog Balance crew sizes to meet schedule and budget requirements Coordinate labor, materials, and equipment needs Ensure shop and field labor hours stay within budget Manage labor shifts and workforce changes as project needs evolve Financial & Business Management Support monthly forecasting and annual planning Monitor costs, productivity, and work‑in‑progress Improve efficiency and profitability across projects Participate in post‑project reviews and continuous improvement efforts Safety, Quality & Compliance Partner with the safety team on training and implementation Ensure consistent, professional project execution Manage union labor considerations and attend labor meetings as needed Sales & Business Development Support Support estimating and sales with staffing strategies and constructability input Participate in bid reviews and client meetings Collaborate with sales and leadership on new pursuits and budgets Qualifications Bachelor’s degree preferred or equivalent experience 10+ years of construction industry experience (data center experience preferred) 7+ years of project management experience 7+ years of people leadership experience Strong business and financial acumen Experience with forecasting and cost management Willingness to travel as needed Skills data center, mechanical, operations, business development Top Skills Details data center,mechanical,operations,business development Experience Level Expert Level Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Round Rock, TX. Pay And Benefits The pay range for this position is $140000.00 - $230000.00/yr.
