Job Description
Job SummaryWe are seeking a dynamic and experienced Operations & Franchise Support professional to oversee and enhance the operational efficiency of our franchise locations.This role involves providing comprehensive support to franchisees & ensuring adherence to brand standards.The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills and excellent communication abilities.This position offers an exciting opportunity to contribute to the growth and success of our brands across multiple locations.Duties Company Google Workspace account management.This involves:Creating & deleting company email addresses.Managing existing email addresses & their details, settings, aliases, etc.Managing company-wide Google account storage & settings.Verifying new domains and creating new email addresses accordingly.Providing support to individual users with questions about their accounts.Troubleshooting issues on both the individual and account-wide levels.Google Business Profile management for retail locations (other similar services, like Apple Business Connect and Bing Places for Business).This involves:Communicating with our partnered SEO agency.Creating Profiles for new retail locations and populating each with details.Keeping locations' profiles' details up-to-date.Troubleshooting issues that may arise.Coordinating with retail employees to conduct video verification for individual locations' profiles when requested by Google.Company Phone System management.This involves:Paying monthly bills on time and communicating with Accounting Department accordingly.Creating & deleting new (and managing existing) lines, users, extensions, phone numbers, devices, and location data when necessary.This also includes provisioning new devices.Coordinating setup of any new telephone devices at any of our retail locations.Troubleshooting issues that may arise with any device in any of our retail locations.Cannabis Industry Legislation monitoring.This involves:Keeping an eye out for news articles, newly introduced cannabis/kratom/vape/etc.legislation, and any other relevant legislative buzz, for each state where we operate, as well as federally.Keeping an eye on/participating in meetings & threads with cannabis industry activist groups and passing along relevant information to company superiors.Creating educational materials & grassroot calls to action for activism campaigns, such as in-store signage for customer and employee use.Potentially travelling to Nashville to meet with legislators and/or activists regarding activism strategies, industry needs & desires, omissions from & additions to legislation, etc.Potentially meeting with company executives & attorneys to discuss legal strategies and compliance.Franchisee Communications.This involves:Weekly, mass check-in emails to all franchisees.This includes any pertinent updates regarding changing legislation, whether in some franchisees' specific state(s), on a federal level, or that will affect production/fulfillment for their stores from our facility in Tennessee.Occasional direct communication to relevant franchisees and/or their representatives, under specific circumstances (typically troubleshooting and/or questions about emails, phones, Google listings, or point of sale system).Limited Point of Sale (POS) administration.This involves:In the event that our company or any of its individual franchises requires a POS/payment processor migration, you will be the primary coordinator of such an event, on the administrative side.You will coordinate with all relevant parties from the beginning of the process until the point at which such retail location is able to actively and effectively utilize their new POS & payment processor.Troubleshooting issues before, during, and after migration, as well as some issues that may arise during normal, active processing.Corporate Research & Development (R&D) record-keeping.This involves:Providing R&D logs for all participating employees to complete and submit accordingly.Ensuring all participating employees know how to notate R&D records appropriately and are doing so completely, thoroughly, and in a timely manner.Ensuring all IRS-qualified aspects of R&D projects are clearly and effectively notated and recorded.Ensuring all completed R&D logs are collected and retained appropriately.Answering R&D-recordkeeping-related questions from company employees and assisting with verbiage and inclusion of all relevant details.Completing and submitting R&D record summaries to intermediary tax agency for subsequent IRS approval.Job Type:Full-time Pay:From $15.00 per hour Expected hours:40 per week Benefits:Employee discount Paid time off People with a criminal record are encouraged to apply Work Location:In person.
