Job Description We are seeking an experienced Senior Full Stack Developer to join our global team in Houston, TX. In this client-facing role, you’ll be responsible for designing, developing, enhancing, and maintaining enterprise-level applications built on VB.Net, .NET, MVC, and SQL Server. The Ideal Candidate A hands-on developer with strong backend and frontend experience, a thorough grasp of application architecture, and practical expertise using Azure DevOps for source control, work item tracking, and collaboration. You will work closely with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality, scalable solutions in a fast-paced enterprise environment. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise applications using VB.Net, .NET Framework/.NET, MVC, and SQL Server. Develop and enhance user interfaces and frontend components that meet business needs. Build and maintain backend services, APIs, and business logic layers. Write, optimize, and troubleshoot SQL queries, stored procedures, and database schemas. Use Azure DevOps for code repositories, work item management, sprint planning, and collaboration. Apply Git best practices for version control (branching, merging, code reviews). Collaborate with DevOps & infrastructure teams on application deployments and releases. Troubleshoot and resolve application issues across development, test, and production environments. Participate in code reviews to ensure code quality and maintainability. Contribute to application architecture discussions and technical design decisions. Draft and maintain technical documentation for code, components, and processes. Actively engage in Agile ceremonies: sprint planning, daily stand?ups, reviews, retrospectives. Required Qualifications Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field. 5+ years hands-on full stack development experience in an enterprise environment. Strong experience with VB.Net, .NET, and MVC application development. Solid background with SQL Server, including query optimization and database design. Proficiency in Azure DevOps for repositories, work item management, and tracking. Strong knowledge of Git and version control best practices. Understanding of full application lifecycle from development to support/maintenance. Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to resolve application issues. Preferred Qualifications Experience with frontend technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) within MVC applications. Familiarity with REST APIs and service-oriented architectures. Exposure to Agile/Scrum development methodologies. Experience supporting applications in cloud or hybrid (Azure preferred) environments. Willingness and ability to learn emerging tools, frameworks, and technologies. Experience using AI tools for co-development is a plus. Soft Skills Strong written and verbal communication skills. Collaborative team player who works well with business and IT stakeholders. Able to work independently with minimal direction. Adaptable and proactive in a fast-paced environment.
