Job Description
We are seeking a dynamic, high-energy Operations Manager to lead the daily functions and growth of our premier indoor golf club. This is a multifaceted role requiring a blend of luxury hospitality management, proactive business development, and team leadership. The ideal candidate is a "face-of-the-brand" leader who is as comfortable closing corporate event deals as they are ensuring every member receives a world-class experience on the floor. Core Responsibilities 1. Business Development & Revenue Growth Sales & Networking: Proactively grow revenue through event sales, social memberships, and business networking initiatives. Corporate Partnerships: Conduct off-site meetings to establish relationships with corporate firms and partners to drive memberships, clinics, and private events. Sponsorships: Identify and secure sponsorship opportunities and strategic brand alignments. Marketing: Manage email promotions (Constant Contact), curate social media content, and explore new digital and physical avenues for club promotion. 2. Hospitality & Experience Management Member Experience: Personally engage with members and guests to maximize their experience and foster a high-end community atmosphere. Event Oversight: Manage and host events, socializing with guests to identify future sales and referral opportunities. Program Development: Build and refine hospitality services, including pricing strategies, promotional offers, and food/beverage enhancements. 3. Operations & Leadership Team Management: Hire, train, and oversee all non-golf-specific personnel. SOP Development: Establish and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and performance guidelines for all staff. Facility Standards: Ensure world-class service standards and club cleanliness are maintained at all times. Compliance: Obtain a Food Handler’s License immediately upon hire to oversee F&B operations. Qualifications & Skills Experience: Proven track record in hospitality management, high-end fitness/club operations, or luxury retail. Sales DNA: Strong background in business development, event sales, or corporate outreach. Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills; a "people person" who thrives on building networks. Technical Proficiency: Comfortable with CRM systems, social media platforms, and email marketing tools. Passion for Excellence: A meticulous eye for detail and a commitment to providing a "concierge-level" experience. Golf Knowledge: While not an instructor role, an understanding of the game and its culture is required. Benefits Competitive salary ($60k - $75k DOE).
