About This Role Hometown Painting is a premium residential painting company serving the Oklahoma City metro.We are growing fast and we need someone organized, confident on the phone, and excited to help build something from the ground up.This is a flexible-hours W-2 position starting at 20-30 hours per week, with the opportunity to grow into full-time as the company scales.You will work directly with the owner as his right hand, handling incoming customer calls, scheduling estimates, supporting active projects, and helping deliver the kind of customer experience that has earned us 120five-star Google reviews.This is not a sit-behind-a-desk-all-day job.Some days you will be on the phone setting appointments.Other days you will be driving to a job site to check on progress or confirm details with a homeowner.You need to be comfortable with both.What You Will Actually Do Your primary job is to make sure every lead that contacts us gets a fast, professional, well-qualified response, and that the best leads turn into appointments on the owner's calendar.Phone Handling:Answer incoming calls and return missed calls within minutes, you are the first voice a customer hears Lead Qualification:Pre-qualify leads using our proven script:confirm decision-makers, set price expectations, filter out poor-fit inquiries Appointment Setting:Book and confirm estimate appointments Customer Communication:Confirm paint colors and sheens before job start; answer customer scheduling questions; send project updates Production Support:As you grow into the role:attend job kickoffs, perform mid-project check-ins, conduct final walkthroughs, and request Google reviews Who This Role Is For You do not need painting experience.We will train you on everything industry-specific.What we cannot train is your personality, your phone presence, and your ability to make people feel taken care of.This role is a great fit if you are:Naturally good on the phone -- friendly, clear, and comfortable steering a conversation Organized and self-directed -- you do not need someone checking on you every hour Hungry to learn and grow -- this role gets bigger as the company gets bigger Comfortable driving across the OKC metro for occasional site visits Looking for a role where your effort directly impacts results, not just a paycheck Backgrounds that tend to do well here:hospitality, healthcare front desk, real estate admin, insurance coordination, gym management, property management, military, or any role where you juggled multiple priorities and talked to real people every day.How to Apply Click the link below and complete our short application form.We review every application personally, no bots, no AI screening.If your application stands out, we will call you within a few days for a 15-minute phone conversation.https://airtable.com/appNPi0v8wFD4Peq0/pagVdfahTsOhb6GpK/form We are a small company that takes hiring seriously.We would rather wait for the right person than rush the wrong one.Pay:$20.00 - $25.00 per hour Benefits:Flexible schedule Paid time off Professional development assistance Work Location:In person.
