Ophthalmic Technician

Full-Time Ophthalmic Technician Location:Fredericksburg, TXCompensation:$18-$30 per hour (based on experience and skill)Benefits:Health & dental insurance, paid vacation & sick leave, CME credits, retirement plan, production bonus We are a busy, well-established ophthalmology practice with three physicians seeking a full-time Ophthalmic Technician to join our team.Responsibilities:Perform patient intake, including medical history and vision screening Conduct diagnostic tests using ophthalmic equipment Perform refractions and prepare patients for examinations Scribe for physicians by entering medical information into electronic health records in real-time during exams Maintain a smooth clinic flow and provide exceptional patient care Qualifications:Strong reliability and work ethic are essential Excellent computer and interpersonal skills required Prior experience as an ophthalmic technician or medical scribe is preferred, but not required--we are willing to train the right candidate Spanish speaking is a plus!
