We are seeking a skilled and patient-focused Ophthalmic Technician to support a high-volume ophthalmology team delivering exceptional eye care. Key Responsibilities Perform patient intake, including medical and ocular history documentation Conduct visual acuity testing and preliminary eye assessments Administer diagnostic testing (e.g., visual fields, OCT, tonometry) Assist physicians with examinations and minor in-office procedures Prepare and maintain exam rooms, instruments, and equipment Educate patients on procedures, medications, and follow-up care Ensure accurate and timely documentation in the EMR system Collaborate with clinical and administrative staff to optimize patient flow Qualifications Experience as an Ophthalmic Technician OR Medical Assistant in an ophthalmology clinic required Strong familiarity with ophthalmic testing and equipment Certification (COT/COA) not required Excellent patient care and communication skills Ability to work in a fast-paced outpatient setting EMR experience preferred Schedule & Work Environment Full-time, day shift Modern, well-equipped specialty clinics within a leading academic/health system
