We are a small, family owned and operated optometry practice located in Bedford, PA. We are looking for an energetic and friendly individual to join our team. Job Description: Optician Provides vision care to patients in a clinic setting including reading prescriptions, taking vision measurements, and making contact lens fittings. Assist with frame selections Calculate vision insurance benefits Bill vision insurances Perform spectacle adjustments, fittings and dispenses Skills & Qualifications: Excellent customer service skills Confidence Proficient computer skills Must be comfortable with patient privacy and confidentiality (will undergo HIPAA training) Strong organizational skills and attention to detail are essential for this position. Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written, are essential for this position.
