Company OverviewStewart Optometry Group is a progressive optometric practice dedicated to providing exceptional eye care services.We are committed to fostering a welcoming environment and are eager to expand our team with motivated and dedicated individuals.Job SummaryWe are seeking a detail-oriented and enthusiastic Optometric Assistant to support our clinical team.The ideal candidate will possess a strong foundation in patient care, medical office procedures, and optical experience.As an integral part of our practice, you will assist with patient intake, perform vital signs, manage medical records, and ensure the smooth operation of daily clinic activities while maintaining high standards of professionalism and confidentiality.Duties Greet patients warmly and assist with the intake process, including collecting medical history and verifying insurance information.Prepare exam rooms using aseptic techniques to ensure a sterile environment for patient examinations.Assist optometrists during eye exams by providing necessary tools and support.Manage electronic medical records (EMR) systems, including documentation of patient interactions and updating medical histories.Maintain compliance with HIPAA regulations to safeguard patient privacy and confidentiality.Perform administrative duties at the front desk, including scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.ExperienceA Stewart Optometry Group is looking to add an Optometric Technician to our growing practice.Candidate will work in a caring patient environment, must be able to multi task and possess excellent interpersonal skills.Individual must be highly organized with a keen focus on customer service as patient care is our number one priority.The ability to work effectively within a team are essential.Experience and Spanish speakers are assets, but we are willing to train the right individual.Join us in delivering outstanding eye care through compassionate service and professional excellence!
