Capstone Healthcare Staffing is seeking a skilled OR RN (Registered Nurse) to support our hospital partners in Cleveland, OH, within the Healthcare & Medical Services industry. In this role, you will provide high-quality perioperative nursing care in a fast-paced operating room environment, working closely with surgeons, anesthesiologists, surgical technologists, and other healthcare professionals to ensure safe and efficient surgical procedures. As an OR RN, you will be responsible for preoperative patient assessment, intraoperative monitoring, and postoperative handoff, following established clinical protocols, infection control standards, and hospital policies. You will prepare the operating room, verify equipment and supplies, assist with patient positioning, maintain a sterile field, manage medications and IV therapies as ordered, and accurately document all aspects of care in the electronic medical record. You will use your critical thinking skills to anticipate the needs of the surgical team, respond promptly to changes in patient status, and advocate for patient safety and comfort throughout the perioperative continuum. This position requires strong communication, attention to detail, and the ability to function effectively under pressure while maintaining professionalism and compassion. You will educate patients and families about procedures, expectations, and postoperative care, and collaborate with the broader care team to support smooth transitions of care.
