Overview Position: OR Tech Location: Woonsocket, RI Department: Surgery Shifts Available: Full Time, Days Pay: $1,056 - $1,529.20 gross per week Assignment length: 12 weeks Premiere Healthcare Staffing is here to help you on your career journey! Award-winning hospital partners across the nation Dedicated career specialists to support you every step of the way Immediate and flexible opportunities to create your career journey Tailored career pathway where you can thrive personally and professionally Responsibilities: The Operating Room Tech is responsible for the preparation of sterile supplies and instruments for each assigned procedure, maintaining sterile field during case and providing surgeon with sterile supplies and instruments during assigned procedures. Qualifications Education and Work Experience High School Diploma or Equivalent or related experience required for new hires effective April 2014. Graduate of an ORT training program or on the job training Experience in scrubbing minor and major procedures in the generalized surgical specialties, (i.e., GYN, General and Plastics). Experience in scrubbing at least minor procedures in the specialty surgical areas (i.e., ortho, neuro, ENT, Uro. Etc.). Current BLS (AHA) certificate upon hire and maintain current.
