Position Overview:We are seeking dependable, hardworking individuals to assist with the installation of an additional three-acre high-density apple orchard to accompany our current estate planting.This is a short-term, outdoor labor position ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on agricultural/farm work.About Dendric Estate:Dendric Estate is a 20 acre cider and spirits estate located at 6,440 feet in elevation in the Kamas valley of northern Utah.Surrounded by +10,000 foot peaks, the estate boasts beautiful views in every direction.Nearly 15 of the 20 acres is devoted to a modern high-density organic estate orchard to provide fruit for the cider production, as well as one greenhouse to provide produce for the onsite kitchen and tasting room.With sustainable and biodynamic farming practices core to our brand, Dendric Estate will represent the pinnacle of premium cider in the west.Job Responsibilities:Planting trees in a high-density orchard system Installing and assisting with tree support systems (irrigation, trellis components) Pruning and training young trees according to orchard specifications General orchard labor and site cleanup What to Expect:This position involves manual outdoor work in varying weather conditions.This is a team based position, focused primarily on planting trees but includes all activities related to establishing high-density trellised agriculture.Additional tasks include tying trees into support wire, applying spiral trunk protectors, and installing irrigation components and sprinklers.Tasks require repetitive bending, lifting, carrying, and standing for extended periods.The pace will be steady and production-focused to complete the installation within the scheduled timeframe.Requirements:Strong work ethic and reliability Ability to perform physically demanding work for full shifts Ability to lift 50 pounds Willingness to follow detailed planting and training instructions Agricultural or orchard experience preferred but not required Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team This is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience in modern high-density orchard systems while working in a focused, team-oriented environment.If you are motivated, dependable, and ready for physical work, we encourage you to apply.Pay:$22.00 - $34.00 per hour Work Location:In person.
