Role Description This is a full-time, on-site role for an Organic Chemist located in Atlanta, GA. The Organic Chemist will be responsible for conducting laboratory experiments, synthesizing complex organic compounds, and developing innovative methodologies. Responsibilities also include working on polymer chemistry, contributing to carbohydrate-based projects, supporting research initiatives, and assisting in product development related to pharmaceutical applications. Collaboration with cross-functional teams and adherence to safety protocols in the lab are integral components of this role. Qualifications Proficiency in Laboratory Techniques and Safety Protocols Experience in Research and Development (R&D) and Research Execution Strong foundational knowledge in Organic Chemistry and Polymers Proven skills in problem-solving, analytical thinking, and innovation Bachelor’s, Master’s, or Ph.D. in Chemistry, Biochemistry, or a related field Ability to work collaboratively in a team and independently with minimal supervision Previous experience within pharmaceutical research or carbohydrate chemistry is a strong asset
