New Thresholds: Senior Move Managers New Thresholds Atlanta is expanding—and we’re seeking part-time help to support seniors through one of life’s most meaningful transitions. Senior move management is much more than logistics. It’s about honoring life stories, easing emotional transitions, and helping clients create a meaningful new chapter. Job Description: Packer & Organizer After our Sorting Team works with our clients to determine what will make the move with them to their new home, our packers/organizers are responsible for the following under the direction of our Move Team Leads: Pack our clients specifically selected items with care, organization and attention to detail. Unpack into the correct room and correct piece of furniture as determined by the client and directed by the Team Leads. Organize and arrange décor in the new home for the client's big reveal on move in day. Be attentive to details discussed with and direction given by the Team Leads. Our team takes a great deal of care to understand our clients wishes before a move and we need to make sure that those are translated into how we set up their new home in order to make this as positive a transition as possible. Problem solve and appropriately escalate as needed on the days of the move. Be a good representative of the New Thresholds brand of white glove, concierge level service both with our clients and within our partner Senior Communities. Skills & Qualifications Organization – Exceptional ability to making order out of chaos. Focus – While on the job, work for many hours without interruption or distraction for the completion of assigned tasks Teamwork – Able to work under direction of a seasoned leader, and partner with other team members to get the job done. Problem Solving – Handle issues as they arise during the move and inform or escalate as appropriate Communication – Able to read, write, and understand English to take action as noted and label boxes or inventory move items as needed. Physical Requirements – lift up to 30 lbs, bend, squat, walk and stand for several hours. Typical day is 8 hours on your feet with a break for lunch paid by New Thresholds.
