Duties Welcome new patients and provide comprehensive information about orthodontic treatment options, procedures, and financing plans Schedule appointments efficiently, coordinating treatment timelines with clinical staff Verify patient insurance benefits and assist with financial arrangements to ensure affordability and clarity Maintain accurate patient records, including treatment plans, progress notes, and billing details Follow up with patients regarding appointment reminders, treatment progress, and post-treatment care instructions Educate patients on oral hygiene practices specific to orthodontic appliances to promote optimal results Collaborate closely with orthodontists and dental assistants to ensure seamless patient care experiences Skills Proven experience in a medical or dental office environment, preferably within orthodontics or dentistry Excellent communication skills—able to explain complex treatment plans clearly and empathetically Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple schedules and prioritize tasks effectively Proficiency in dental office management software and general office tools Familiarity with insurance verification processes and financial counseling for patients Ability to work collaboratively as part of a dedicated healthcare team Helping with marketing, community outreach, and growth of a new startup office.
