Job Summary We are seeking a highly skilled and energetic Orthodontist to join our dynamic dental team. Duties Conduct comprehensive orthodontic assessments, including patient evaluation and diagnosis using advanced dental imaging techniques. Develop personalized treatment plans utilizing modern orthodontic appliances such as braces, aligners, and retainers. Perform orthodontic procedures with precision, including adjustments, appliance placements, and modifications to ensure optimal results. Collaborate with general dentists and specialists on complex cases requiring interdisciplinary care such as oral surgery or prosthodontics. Maintain detailed medical and dental records in compliance with HIPAA regulations and ensure accurate documentation of patient progress. Educate patients on treatment options, oral hygiene practices, and post-treatment care to promote long-term oral health. Uphold infection control standards by practicing aseptic techniques and ensuring a sterile environment during all procedures. Stay current with advancements in orthodontics by participating in continuing education and integrating new techniques into practice. Qualifications Doctor of Dental Surgery (DDS) or Doctor of Dental Medicine (DMD) degree from an accredited institution. Valid state license to practice dentistry with specialization or certification in orthodontics. Proven experience in orthodontic treatment planning and execution, including the use of digital imaging tools like Epic or Eaglesoft software. Familiarity with dental terminology, medical terminology, and medical records management. Strong knowledge of pediatric dentistry, oral surgery, endodontics, prosthodontics, and root canal therapy as they relate to orthodontic care. Proficiency in four-handed dentistry techniques to enhance efficiency during procedures. Experience working with dental office management software such as Dentrix or similar platforms. Excellent communication skills for patient education and team collaboration. Knowledge of infection control protocols and aseptic techniques essential for maintaining a safe clinical environment.
