Job Description
Diagnose and treat various spinal conditions Conduct thorough patient assessments to diagnose and treat a range of spine conditions, including spinal deformities, herniated discs, spinal stenosis, and traumatic injuries. Order and interpret diagnostic imaging, such as X-rays, MRIs, and CT scans, to aid in precise diagnosis and treatment planning. Develop and implement personalized treatment plans, which may involve surgical interventions, conservative treatments, physical therapy, and pain management techniques. Provide expert guidance and consultations to patients, their families, and healthcare staff on spinal conditions and the available treatment options. Collaborate closely with other medical professionals, including primary care physicians, anesthesiologists, and physical therapists, to ensure comprehensive patient care. Keep abreast of the latest developments in spine surgery and integrate evidence-based practices into patient care. Maintain thorough and accurate medical records, including patient histories, examination findings, diagnostic results, and treatment plans. Qualifications: Medical degree (MD or DO) from an accredited institution. Board certification or eligibility in Orthopedic Surgery with a subspecialty in Spine Surgery (Preferred). Texas State medical license and any necessary certifications for practice.
