Orthopedic Surgeon - Joint Replacement (MD/DO) Position Summary The Orthopedic Joint Replacement Surgeon provides comprehensive surgical and non-surgical care for patients with degenerative and traumatic conditions affecting the hip, knee, and other major joints. This role focuses on primary and revision joint arthroplasty, perioperative management, and long-term functional outcomes, working collaboratively within a multidisciplinary care team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Evaluate and manage patients with degenerative joint disease, arthritis, and joint-related musculoskeletal conditions Perform primary and revision joint replacement procedures, including hip and knee arthroplasty, consistent with training and privileges Utilize minimally invasive, robotic-assisted, or advanced surgical techniques as appropriate Provide non-operative management including injections, physical therapy planning, and medical optimization Manage perioperative and postoperative care, including complications and recovery planning Participate in emergency and on-call orthopedic coverage as required Interpret diagnostic studies including X-rays, CT scans, MRI, and other imaging Collaborate with anesthesiology, hospitalists, physical therapy, nursing, and case management teams Educate patients regarding diagnosis, treatment options, surgical risks, and expected outcomes Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation Participate in quality improvement, patient safety, and outcomes initiatives Supervise and educate residents, fellows, advanced practice providers, or trainees as applicable Comply with all regulatory, accreditation, and professional standards Qualifica
